Scott Cain is not only the crew chief, transport driver, mechanic and pit crew but he is also the proud father of Grant Cain. Scott enjoys working on the kart in between race weekends. Although during the race weekends it is a bit stressful, but he is adapting well. His mechanic skills were honed on a dairy farm working on all kinds of equipment as a young one. Cows are a lot more patient than racers. He currently works as an electrical engineer and enjoys bike riding when time permits.

Grant started racing at Allsports Grand Prix indoor karting facility located in Dulles Virginia when he was nine years old. In fact he still drops in whenever he can to enjoy the great indoor facility. Grant continued his kart racing on sprint tracks up and down the east coast racing in the WKA Manufacturer’s Cup series. During Grant’s karting years Beaverun PA was considered his home track. Grant would occasionally run the Woodbridge Kart Club CIK Sprint class as well.

Grant is is now racing Spec Miata with NASA and SCCA.

Grant is also an avid Lacrosse player where he splits his field time between defense and long stick midfielder.
